Germany and Sweden lead after day one of the Nations Cup
After the first six rounds of the Nations Cup in Tampere, Finland, Germany and Sweden are leading their respective groups in the team competition. In the individual event, Walter Erlbruch of Germany leads on 144, five strokes ahead of Pierre Zetterlund of Sweden.
The leading Great Britain player is Tim Davies, currently placed 44 on 202. Ted McIver is four places and 14 strokes behind.
The highlighs of the day include an 18 by Daniel Klosek of Germany in his third eternit round. The best Beton round was 25 by Reto Sommer of Switzerland.
Ted McIver has played the lowest rounds of the British players on both courses - 26 on eternit, and 33 on beton.
