Castle Golf World Crazy Golf Championships 2008

The 2008 Castle Golf World Crazy Golf Championships took place at the Hastings Seafront Adventure Golf Complex in Hastings, East Sussex on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th October 2008.

The overall winner was Tim ĎAce Maní Davies from Hastings who lifted his fifth title, last yearís winner Chris Harding was second and Andy Exall was third. Finlandís Pasi Aho just missed out on a podium place after finishing in fourth place. Davies won with a seven round total of 250 (-2), an average of 1.98 shots per hole.

Players from all over the world were invited to compete in the Castle Golf World Crazy Golf Championships which had a prize fund of £3000. 68 competitors played six qualifying rounds (three on Saturday, two on Sunday) on the two 18-hole courses, with the top ranked 18 players making the cut to take part in the final round, played using unique Crazy Crazy Golf Rules.

Other winners at the tournament were Jo Williamson, who became the Womenís World Crazy Golf Champion, with Ruth Bullin second and Emily Gottfried third. Rocky Bullin picked up the White Rock Hotel Aces Prize for scoring 16 Holes-in-one in his six rounds of play.
